A property damage crash on a Sodus roadway led to a DWI arrest Sunday evening, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested 52-year-old Jeffrey P. Slyck of Rochester following an investigation on Lake Road near Maxwell Road in the Town of Sodus.
The Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the scene around 5:31 p.m. as part of a DWI investigation tied to the crash.
Investigators charged Slyck with Driving While Intoxicated, first offense, and Aggravated DWI after deputies determined his blood alcohol content was .19 percent.
Deputies transported him to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Authorities later released him on an appearance ticket.
Slyck is scheduled to appear in Sodus Town Court on Feb. 2 at 10 a.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office.
