Wayne County supervisors made it official with no drama this time, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
The Wayne County Board of Supervisors unanimously reelected Kim Leonard as board chair during Monday’s annual reorganization meeting. Leonard, the Macedon town supervisor, became the board’s first female chair in 2025 after a narrow vote.
Supporters praised her focus on transparency and steady leadership. Leonard guided the board through major administrative turnover last year, including retirements of the county administrator and human resources director.
Supervisors said her second term gives the county continuity as several long-term projects move forward in 2026.
