Deputies arrested a Rochester man after investigators said a forged building permit surfaced in a Wayne County town.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office charged Juan R. Martinez, 25, of Lorenzo Street in Rochester, with forgery in the third degree.
Investigators said Martinez forged a Town of Walworth building permit. The sheriff’s office did not release additional details about how the alleged forgery was discovered.
Deputies arrested Martinez in the town of Lyons. They later released him on an appearance ticket.
Martinez is scheduled to appear in Town of Walworth Court at a later date to answer the charge, according to the sheriff’s office.
