A vehicle found in a ditch led deputies to a drug-impaired driving arrest in Bristol.
Matthew C. Weitzel, 46, of Bloomfield, was arrested around 3:24 a.m. on Jan. 5 at the intersection of U.S. Route 20A and Buckelew Road.
Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway and determined Weitzel was operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs. He was issued traffic citations and released.
Weitzel is scheduled to appear in Bristol Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
