Monday opened another week of Wayne-Finger Lakes high school hoops with nine girls games on the schedule. One of the night’s most competitive contests unfolded in Seneca Falls, where Midlakes outlasted Mynderse in a defensive battle. The win marked the Screaming Eagles’ first league victory of the season and sent the Blue Devils to 0-3 in league play. Elsewhere, Marcus Whitman picked up a non-league win over Gananda, led by 18 points from senior Madison Daggett, snapping a two-game skid.
