Seneca Falls woman grabbed victim by throat during dispute

Police arrested a woman after a domestic dispute investigation in Seneca Falls that involved children, officers said.

Cassondra M. Ogborn, 36, of Seneca Falls was taken into custody Dec. 30 following an investigation by the Seneca Falls Police Department.

Police said Ogborn engaged in a physical altercation in front of two children and grabbed the victim by the throat during the incident.

Investigators charged Ogborn with one count of harassment in the second degree, a violation. She also faces one misdemeanor count of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Police requested orders of protection on behalf of the victims.

Officers transported Ogborn to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where she was held pending arraignment.
