Deputies arrested a woman after responding to a crash involving a vehicle that left the roadway in the Town of Sennett.
The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office identified the driver as Carrie S. Hanno, 58, of Auburn.
Deputies responded Dec. 19 to the area of East Genesee Street Road and Beech Road after a witness reported a vehicle traveling all over the road. The witness said the vehicle swerved off the roadway and into a ditch.
Deputies spoke with Hanno, who was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. Deputies conducted standardized field sobriety tests and arrested her for driving while intoxicated.
Hanno later provided a chemical breath sample that showed a BAC of .19%.
Deputies issued her uniform traffic tickets. She is scheduled to appear in Sennett Town Court on Jan. 7.
