Rachel Kaus paced Cornell with 18 points, including 14 before halftime, and added five rebounds. Clarke Jackson reached double figures with 10 points, and Paige Engels contributed seven points and four boards. Freshman Grace Renners supplied five points off the bench.

Cornell shot 41 percent from the field but struggled from long range, converting just one of nine attempts. Army countered with an efficient 57 percent shooting night and knocked down nine three-pointers. The Black Knights also controlled the rebounding battle 32-22 and turned Cornell’s 11 turnovers into 16 points.

Army featured a balanced attack led by Camryn Tade and Reese Ericson, who each scored 17 points. Taylor Wilson added 16 points and Reganne Reardon chipped in 12 as Army’s depth and interior play proved decisive.

The first half was tightly contested, featuring seven ties and seven lead changes before Army took a 35-34 edge into the break. Cornell briefly kept pace early in the third quarter, but a prolonged dry spell changed the game. The Big Red went more than 11 minutes without a field goal, scoring just three free throws during that stretch as Army built a double-digit advantage.

Army outscored Cornell 41-18 after halftime to pull away.
