A traffic stop for running a stop sign led to a drunk driving arrest early Saturday morning.
Todd M. Sharp, 59, of Farmington, was pulled over around 12:55 a.m. on Dec. 7, according to Waterloo Police. Officers say he was driving while intoxicated and had multiple open containers in the vehicle.
Police say Sharp’s blood alcohol content was 0.09%. He was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI for a BAC over 0.08%, failure to stop at a stop sign, and open container violations.
Officers released him with several uniform traffic tickets. He’s expected to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
