Bath awarded $1M grant for new rescue truck

The Village of Bath has received a $1 million grant to purchase a new rescue truck for the Bath Volunteer Fire Department, WETM reports.

Officials say the funding—secured by Hunt Engineers’ Tammy Kunzman and Village Clerk Jackie Shroyer—will boost emergency response capabilities while saving taxpayers money. Mayor Michael Sweet praised the effort as a major step forward for public safety.

The truck is expected to enhance service across the village and surrounding areas.
