A woman accused of stabbing a mother and daughter in Auburn now faces an attempted murder charge, The Citizen reports.
Prosecutors upgraded charges against Kelli Vroman, 40, after medical evidence showed the May 20 attack caused life-threatening injuries. Vroman allegedly confronted the victims—who she knew—at their home, then stabbed both before fleeing.
Police later found her hiding in an attic after a neighbor overheard her trying to conceal evidence. She’s out on bond and set for trial in May.
