Two people were arrested just hours apart Thursday after separate shoplifting complaints at the same Target store in Victor, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Heather M. Fox, 42, of Canandaigua, was taken into custody around 3:13 p.m. after allegedly leaving the store without paying for $124.80 in merchandise. She was brought to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment and is expected back in Victor Town Court at a later date.
Roughly three hours later, deputies arrested Jordyn P. James, 25, of Brighton, in a similar incident at the same store. James is accused of passing all points of sale without paying for $106.20 worth of items. She was released and will also return to Victor Town Court to face the charge.
Both arrests happened at the Target on Commons Boulevard and were investigated by Deputies Bassett and Giaconia.
