A Steuben County judge handed down a 90-year prison sentence for a Howard man convicted of multiple rapes over four years, according to WETM.
Prosecutors said the man, 51-year-old Matthew Kapp, assaulted a victim six times in Avoca between 2015 and 2019 and used threats and violence to force continued abuse. A jury found him guilty in August on six rape charges and six coercion counts.
Kapp will also face 30 years of post-release supervision after serving his sentence.
