Bills QB Josh Allen named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been named the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Week for Week 11 after delivering one of the most explosive outings of his career in Buffalo’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It marks his second such honor of the 2025 season, joining his Week 1 recognition, and the 17th of his career, the most by any player since he entered the league in 2018.

Allen put together a dominant all-around performance, completing 19-of-30 passes for 317 yards and three touchdowns. He paired that with 40 rushing yards on six attempts and added three more scores on the ground, finishing just behind James Cook III for the team’s rushing lead. The outing marked his first game with at least three passing touchdowns of 25 yards or longer, and his fourth career performance with multiple touchdown passes of 40 or more yards.

His versatility continued to rewrite record books. Allen is now the first quarterback in league history with more than one game featuring at least three passing and three rushing touchdowns. Through Buffalo’s first 10 games, he also became the first player ever to reach at least 15 passing touchdowns, 10 rushing touchdowns, and average eight or more yards per attempt in that span.

With his latest rushing scores, Allen tied Cam Newton for the most regular-season rushing touchdowns by a quarterback at 75. He also joined elite company as just the fifth starting quarterback to record 90 wins within his first eight NFL seasons, including playoff victories.

The Bills (7-3) return to action Thursday when they visit the Houston Texans (5-5) at 8:15 p.m.
