Tompkins library asks public to shape 2026 plan

Tompkins County Public Library wants local input before finalizing its next long-term strategy, according to WENY.

A public listening session is set for Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Greater Ithaca Activities Center. The draft plan focuses on accessibility, safety, inclusivity, and innovation — all required under state education law.

Residents can also weigh in via an online survey. A final version heads to the Board of Trustees in early 2026.
