Lyons man arrested for illegally taking vehicle after domestic incident

Deputies arrested a Lyons man this week after he allegedly took his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle without permission.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says 34-year-old Jamaal Moody was taken into custody on November 13. The charge stems from a domestic incident that occurred the day before in the Town of Lyons.

Moody is accused of taking the vehicle without his ex-girlfriend’s knowledge. He was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the second degree.

Deputies transported him to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment in CAP Court, where he was remanded without bail. He’s expected to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
