Deputies arrested a man after a special investigation uncovered contraband inside the Wayne County Jail.
Brian Lazzar, 46, is facing a charge of promoting prison contraband in the second degree. Deputies say he was found with unauthorized items while incarcerated at the jail in the Town of Lyons.
Lazzar was issued an appearance ticket while still in custody. He’s scheduled to answer the charge in Lyons Town Court on December 1 at 8:30 a.m.
