Deputies arrested a woman after a two-car crash in Tyre left two people with minor injuries.
Delaine M. George, 70, of Waterloo was charged with driving while intoxicated after she allegedly rear-ended another vehicle on Friday evening. The crash happened around 6:15 p.m., according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said George submitted to a chemical breath test, which showed a blood alcohol content of 0.11%. She was also ticketed for following too closely.
The two people in the other vehicle complained of whiplash-related soreness but declined hospital treatment.
New York State Police, North Seneca Ambulance, and the Tyre Town Fire Department assisted at the scene.
George is due in Tyre Town Court on December 10.
