A Clifton Springs man was arrested for drunk driving after police found him slumped over the steering wheel of a parked car in Canandaigua.
Officers say they found 21-year-old Dakota L. Coons just after midnight on October 23 while he was parked on Phoenix Street. When they checked on his condition, they determined he was intoxicated.
An investigation revealed Coons had driven the vehicle while under the influence before stopping on Phoenix Street. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated and later released to a third party with an appearance ticket.
Coons is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.
