A spooky yard on West Avenue took top honors in this year’s Village of Newark Halloween Display Contest.
Mayor Jonathan Taylor stopped by 304 West Ave. to present the Budd family with a basket of holiday goodies for their winning setup. The display earned the title of “Best Halloween Display” for 2025.
Each year, the village encourages residents to get festive and show off their creativity with outdoor decorations. The Budd family’s setup stood out among several contenders for its Halloween spirit.
