A man was hospitalized Sunday after his electric bicycle collided with a car in Seneca Falls.
Police say the crash happened on October 26 along North Road, near the entrance to a local facility. Officers determined that Cory Brack was riding an electric bicycle against the flow of traffic when he struck the side of a vehicle making a left turn into a parking lot.
Brack suffered a head laceration and complained of head pain at the scene. He was transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car was not injured and was able to leave the scene in their vehicle.
According to preliminary findings, Brack’s decision to ride in the wrong lane contributed to the crash. The Seneca Falls Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
