A Bath man was arrested earlier this month after police say he was driving under the influence on West Morris Street.
According to the Bath Police Department, an officer stopped Christopher Rumsey, 58, on October 5 around 7:58 p.m. after observing his vehicle swerving and violating traffic laws.
During the stop, officers suspected Rumsey had been drinking. He was arrested and charged with misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated along with multiple traffic violations. Police say Rumsey was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
He is scheduled to appear in Bath Village Court at a later date.
