Two lucky TAKE 5 players are waking up winners after hitting the top prize in Sunday night’s drawing.
The New York Lottery says the winning tickets, each worth $14,380.50, were sold in Herkimer and Syracuse.
One ticket was purchased at Hannaford #8366 on East Albany Street in Herkimer. The other came from Kinney Drugs #085 on Lafayette Road in Syracuse.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn twice daily from a field of 1 through 39. Winners have up to a year to claim their prize.
The Lottery contributed $3.6 billion to New York’s public schools during the last fiscal year.
