Drivers in Geneva should expect a full-day road closure on Doran Avenue this Friday, October 10, as crews install a new pedestrian bridge at the elevated railway.
Bridge Brothers Inc. will begin work at 7 a.m., with the road shut down between East North Street and Forge Avenue.
The City of Geneva says access will still be available to nearby homes and businesses, but north and southbound through traffic will be closed for the duration of the project.
Officials also noted that the schedule may change depending on weather or other unexpected issues.
