Attempted murder, standoff suspect due in court today in Seneca County

A Waterloo man accused of trying to kill police officers during a violent standoff is expected in court Wednesday, according to the Finger Lakes Times. Randy Davis, 46, faces 13 charges, including three counts of attempted murder, and may enter a plea or hear pretrial motions.

The charges stem from an April 1 incident at Mallard Crossing Trailer Park, where Davis allegedly broke into a neighbor’s home, stole guns, and fired at police and others from multiple locations before surrendering after a tear-gas standoff.

He remains in jail on $1 million bail.
