Police say a Penn Yan man was caught drinking a beer in the Yates County Courtyard and is now facing a local ordinance charge.
Officers issued a ticket to 30-year-old Danny L. Ribble Jr. on September 24, after they found him with an open alcoholic beverage in the public area.
Ribble was cited for violating the village’s open container law. He’s scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
