Goalkeeper Ryan Friedberg made history, recording his fifth clean sheet of the season to become Cornell’s all-time leader with 19 career shutouts. He played 80 minutes before giving way to Ryan Thompson, preserving the shutout streak.

The Big Red wasted little time setting the tone. Sam Latona opened the scoring in the 19th minute, and Giorgos Diakos doubled the lead just a minute later. Blake Donahue added another on the brink of halftime, sending Cornell into the break up 3-0.

The second half brought more offense as Wilson Carnevale struck in the 66th minute and Sergio Zapata netted his third goal in two matches to seal the rout. Assists came from Daniel Samways (three), Connor Miller (two), Dominic Kobl, and Diakos.

Cornell extended its all-time series edge over Binghamton to 19-5-2 in 26 meetings.

Box Score
