A Canandaigua man is facing a felony charge after allegedly stealing cards filled with cash and checks while working a wedding catering job.
Deputies say 53-year-old Michael John Dailey was taken into custody on Sept. 22 for grand larceny in the fourth degree. The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at a venue on State Route 5 and 20 in the Town of Canandaigua.
The investigation found that Dailey, who was working the event for a catering company, stole cards intended for the newlyweds.
He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in Naples Town Court at a later date.
