A 25-year-old woman has been arrested following a child abuse investigation in Seneca Falls.
On September 19 at around 5:30 p.m., officers from the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Mikaela S. Church, according to a department release.
Church was charged with attempted assault in the third degree and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Following her arrest, she was processed and taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
Police say a request for an order of protection was submitted on behalf of the children involved.
No additional details about the investigation were released.
