A new study aims to measure the economic power of New York’s 750-mile Empire State Trail, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Parks & Trails New York is leading the effort, with Rochester’s LaBella Associates and NC State University analyzing tourism, real estate, business growth, and health benefits tied to the trail. The study includes in-person and online surveys.
Organizers say public input is vital and encourage anyone who’s used the trail in the past year to complete the brief online survey.
