Deputies arrested a Lyons man Sunday afternoon after he was found in possession of stolen property during a subject stop on Route 14.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 26-year-old Leon C. Williams was spotted with a grocery cart that had been taken from the Aldi store in Lyons.
Deputies charged Williams with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He was processed and taken to the Wayne County Jail for paperwork before being released.
Williams is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
