Powerball players across New York are waking up to some serious luck after the September 6 drawing produced 24 third-prize-winning tickets — including a $100,000 winner sold in Ontario.
The New York Lottery announced that four of the higher-tier Powerplay tickets, each worth $100,000, were sold in Constantia, Flushing, Newburgh, and Ontario.
$100K Powerplay winners hit Ontario, Flushing, and more
Each $100,000 ticket included the Powerplay option, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes. The winning locations:

- Buckingham Market, 45 Redfield Street, Constantia
- Skyview Newsstand Inc, 4024 College Point Blvd, Flushing
- Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Rd, Newburgh
These players matched four numbers plus the Power Ball and opted into the Powerplay multiplier.
20 more players win $50K in other NY towns
In addition to the big four, 20 more third-prize tickets — each worth $50,000 — were sold at various retailers across the state. Winning locations include:
- Alexandria Bay
- Armonk
- Bronx (2 tickets)
- Brooklyn (2 tickets)

These players also matched four numbers and the Power Ball but did not opt for Powerplay.
