A Waterloo driver faces drunken-driving charges after deputies stopped a speeding vehicle Saturday on Waterloo Geneva Road, according to the Seneca County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrested Braulio Cantu Jr., 29, at about 2:30 a.m. in the town of Waterloo after administering field sobriety tests, the sheriff's office said.
A chemical breath test showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.16%, according to the release.
Cantu was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit, speeding and having a cracked windshield.
He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Town Court on Nov. 4.
