The quartet—Robin Scott (violin), Janet Ying (violin), Phillip Ying (viola), and David Ying (cello)—serves as the quartet-in-residence at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, where they teach and lead the school’s chamber music program.

Known for their expressive style and rich musicality, the Ying Quartet has performed across the globe and earned widespread acclaim for their recordings and live concerts.
