Ontario County native Joe Liss is turning Misery into laughs at this year’s Rochester Fringe Festival, according to the Democrat and Chronicle.
Liss and co-star Dee Ryan will perform Misery Loves Company, a comedic spin on the Stephen King thriller. A Second City alum, Liss grew up in Clifton Springs and built a career in improv, writing for SpongeBob SquarePants and more.
The show runs Sept. 12 and 14 at the Blackbox Theatre. Tickets start at $25.
