A woman from Colorado was arrested for drunk driving last week after deputies say she showed up intoxicated at the Sempronius Fire Department.
Anne M. Bufford, 29, of Colorado Springs, was taken into custody around 10:54 p.m. on August 26, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies had been investigating an unrelated complaint near Bear Swamp Road and Ridge Road when they determined that Bufford had driven her vehicle to the fire station while under the influence of alcohol.
She was arrested at the scene and brought to the Public Safety Building for processing. Authorities say she refused to submit a chemical breath test.
Bufford was charged with DWI first offense, a misdemeanor. She was held for arraignment and later released on her own recognizance.
