A 19-year-old driver was arrested early Sunday morning after deputies found his damaged vehicle near Middle Road in the town of Potter.
Deputies with the Yates County Sheriff’s Office responded around 1:30 a.m. to a report of a suspicious vehicle. They found Adam M. Judd of Brooktondale, who had driven off the road, into a field, then back onto the roadway — damaging his vehicle in the process.
After investigating, deputies arrested Judd and took him to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for a chemical test. He was then transported to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.
Judd faces multiple charges, including:
- Driving while intoxicated
- Operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol under age 21
- Drinking alcohol or using cannabis in a vehicle
- Unsafe lane change
- Failure to keep right
