People living with lung disease or breathing problems can find support and resources at a free meeting next month hosted by UR Medicine Thompson Health.
The Thompson Better Breathers group will meet from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, at the Constellation Center for Health and Healing, located on the ground floor of Thompson Hospital at 350 Parrish St.
The group is open to anyone looking to improve their quality of life while managing respiratory issues. It’s led by Thompson Health Respiratory Therapist Gerald Dilgard and focuses on education, discussion, and practical lifestyle changes.
There’s no cost to attend. Visitors should enter the hospital campus via The Thompson Way, off West Street near The Eye Care Center.
