Deputies say a man from Auburn turned himself in last week after being accused of stealing merchandise from the Lowe’s store on Grant Avenue Road.
According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old Joshua A. LaClair was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, following an investigation into the Aug. 8 theft.
Investigators say they identified LaClair as the suspect, applied for a warrant, and arrested him when he turned himself in on Aug. 21. He was arraigned and released, with a future court date scheduled in the Town of Sennett Court.
