Search warrant leads to drug bust, two arrests in Auburn

Investigators found cocaine, synthetic drugs, and body armor after executing a search warrant at an Auburn home.

Police say Caroline J. Clark, 38, and Trevor L. Greene, 46, were using the home to sell illegal drugs. The Finger Lakes Drug Task Force had been investigating the pair for illegal possession, sales, and distribution of narcotics in Cayuga County.

Officers executed the warrant the night of Aug. 20 and say they found cocaine, a synthetic drug known as “molly,” digital scales, drug packaging materials, cash, and body armor.

Clark and Greene were both arrested and charged with:

  • One count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree (Class B felony)
  • One count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree (Class B felony)
  • One count of possession with intent to sell imitation controlled substances (Class A misdemeanor)

They were taken to Cayuga County Jail for arraignment and later released on their own recognizance.

The Finger Lakes Drug Task Force includes members of the New York State Police, Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, and Auburn Police Department. The Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office is handling the prosecution.
