New moms looking for connection and support are invited to join “The Milk Bar,” a monthly moms group hosted by UR Medicine Thompson Health.
The next meeting is set for Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Birthing Center classroom at Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St. in Canandaigua.
Led by lactation consultant Courtney Stuhlman, the group is open to all moms — not just those who are breastfeeding. Babies are welcome, along with older siblings up to age 2.
Described as a “safe and nurturing space,” the group gives moms a chance to share experiences and support each other through early motherhood.
