Congresswoman Tenney visits LifeNet NY base in Seneca Falls

Congresswoman Claudia Tenney made a stop in Seneca Falls this week to visit the LifeNet of New York base at Finger Lakes Regional Airport.

During the visit, Tenney met with flight crews, toured the facility, and discussed the role air medical services play in saving lives across the Finger Lakes and rural Upstate New York.

LifeNet 7-12 has operated in Seneca Falls since 2014. The base runs 24/7, staffed with trained pilots, flight nurses, and paramedics who provide emergency care and transport using an advanced EC130 helicopter. The team helps move critically ill or injured patients to medical centers that can provide specialized treatment.

“LifeNet NY and Air Methods provide an essential lifeline,” Tenney said. “I’m grateful to the men and women who serve in these demanding roles and remain committed to supporting rural healthcare and emergency services.”

Air Methods Northeast Region Field Operations Manager Bill Stubba said the visit helped highlight the team’s lifesaving work and emphasized the importance of support from lawmakers like Tenney.
