Several Yates County fire departments were called out Tuesday night after a barn caught fire along West Lake Road.
The initial mutual aid request went out to Benton Fire and Bellona Fire, according to Yates County FireWire. Additional updates confirmed that Penn Yan Fire and Dresden Fire also responded with tankers.
Crews worked to supply water to the scene, with Benton Fire setting up a fill site to support firefighting efforts. Himrod Fire sent one tanker to the scene around 10:39 p.m., according to reports.
There were no immediate updates on the extent of the damage or any injuries.
