The Cayuga County Health Department is inviting residents to take part in a new community health assessment survey.
The survey is part of the department’s effort to better understand the health needs of the community, identify priorities, and shape future public health initiatives. Officials say feedback will help guide interventions to improve health outcomes and quality of life in Cayuga County.
Residents 18 and older can complete the survey online or by filling out a paper copy at community events. Hard copies will also be delivered to businesses and organizations throughout the county. The survey is anonymous and takes about 15 minutes to complete.
Topics include health challenges, access to services, and ideas for improving community wellness. The department will use the results to plan programs, services, and outreach efforts.
The survey can be completed at www.surveymonkey.com/r/PQ8G7QZ or by scanning the QR code on promotional materials. Questions about the survey can be directed to the health department at 315-253-1560.
