A 23-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a July crash that killed a 2-year-old boy in Oswego County, according to WSYR. Kali Seaman faces vehicular manslaughter and DWI charges under Leandra’s Law.
Police say Seaman was under the influence of marijuana when she lost control of her minivan on Route 49 in Hastings. The vehicle overturned and hit a tree, fatally injuring the child in the back seat. A 19-year-old passenger was also hospitalized.
Seaman turned herself in and is being held on $25,000 bail.
