A 26-year-old registered sex offender from Williamson has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography, according to WROC. Joseph Hudson III now faces 10 to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The case began when Microsoft flagged suspected uploads in March 2024. Investigators traced the material back to Hudson, who had a prior conviction for abusing a child under 11. A search of his home uncovered over 100 illegal images and videos.
Sentencing is scheduled for December 4 in federal court.
