Macedon’s Sycamore Golf Club is thriving with a renovated course and a brand-new restaurant and banquet facility, according to the Wayne Times.
Owner Mark Crane, founder of Mark’s Pizzeria, invested heavily in reviving the former Crooked Pines course. Upgrades include a new irrigation system, paved cart paths, a spacious pro shop, and full renovations to the 20,000-square-foot main building, now home to a clubhouse, dining room, and event space.
The public restaurant opens August 22, and banquet bookings are already underway. Crane says the revitalized space is meant for everyone—not just members—with plans to employ over 75 people across the venue.
