The Finger Lakes Opera is set to perform Rigoletto, a powerful story of love, vengeance, and tragedy, according to News10NBC.
Baritone Joshua Conyers, who stars in the title role, describes the character as emotionally complex—a father and a jester caught between two worlds. Conyers has studied the role for nearly a decade to portray Rigoletto’s spiraling descent authentically.
Performances will take place August 7 and 10 at RIT’s Robert F. Panara Theatre.
