A popular stretch of the Black Diamond Trail in Trumansburg will close starting Sept. 2 for maintenance, according to The Ithaca Voice.
Trail sections between Perry City Road and Garrett Road will shut down Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for several weeks. Officials are urging visitors to find alternate routes during the work.
The Finger Lakes State Parks team says the repairs aim to keep the trail safe and accessible for hikers and bikers alike.
