A family of five was displaced after a fire caused significant damage to a home on Kraft Road in Ulysses on Saturday evening, according to The Ithaca Voice.
Firefighters arrived around 5 p.m. and found heavy flames at the rear of the single-story house.
The fire is suspected to have started from or near a propane grill, though state investigators had not completed their final report.
Crews brought the main fire under control within 10 to 15 minutes but remained for several hours to extinguish hot spots.
No injuries were reported, and departments from Enfield, Mecklenburg and Interlaken assisted Trumansburg firefighters at the scene.
